The Dosan Memorial Museum commemorates the accomplishments and work of Dosan Ahn Chang-ho in the United States. Throughout his life in the US, Dosan helped many families feel at home while working in the citrus fields, creating a legacy that should not be forgotten. The Legacy Memorial Museum uses each space to tell Dosan's story and inspire others like him to make a difference in the States. The building incorporates concrete on one side to represent the old and copper on the other to symbolize the new generation. Reflecting Dosan's legacy and the passing on to the next generation, both sides of the facility are connected by a Korean garden. This garden represents life through the generations, like trees that are planted, grow, and witness different ages and eras.
